Melanie Merola O'Donnell Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Melanie Merola O’Donnell Scholarship Fund benefits graduate students in the field of mental health.
On September 21, run, walk, or pledge a contribution to the Saratoga Palio Melanie Merola O’Donnell
Memorial Race. The race is fast becoming an annual favorite, thanks to its exhilarating course through the
heart of Saratoga Springs and, of course, because it’s for such a great cause. This event was established
to raise money for a scholarship in honor of Melanie Merola O’Donnell.

Melanie lived an inspiring life and, though it was cut short, it was full. She worked hard doing what she liked best — helping people in need. Her remarkable efforts in the field of mental health and crisis counseling touched many. The registration fee and sponsor proceeds will go to the Melanie Merola O’Donnell Memorial Scholarship Fund. Each year, an award goes to an outstanding postgraduate student in the field of mental health to help Melanie’s work continue.

So please come join the race. It’ll do you — and eventually many others — a lot of good.
